Where Are You Going ("we," "us," "the foundation") respects the privacy of everyone who visits this site, submits a help request, volunteers, donates, or shares an answer to our question. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

• Help requests: your name, a way to contact you (phone or email), the category of need you select, and any details you choose to share.
• Volunteer sign-ups: your name, email, area of interest, and any notes you add.
• Shared answers: the text you submit to "So… where are you going?" and whether you've given permission for it to appear on the homepage.
• Donations: payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details — Stripe's own privacy policy governs that information.

We currently do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site. [Update this if you add analytics, e.g. Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics — and say so here.]

How we use it

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your help request and connect you with appropriate support
• Coordinate volunteer involvement
• Consider your shared answer for the homepage, only if you've given permission
• Send donation receipts (handled by Stripe)

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers named in this policy (currently [Formspree] for form submissions and Stripe for payments), and only as needed to operate the site.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are processed through [Formspree — link to their privacy policy]. [If you later move submissions into a database, spreadsheet, or CRM, describe that here and who has access.]

Your choices

• You can ask us to delete any information you've submitted at any time.
• You can withdraw permission for a shared answer to appear publicly, even after submitting it.
• You can ask what information we hold about you.
